Race down the picturesque one-lap course and help raise funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) to support their mission to ensure that all Australian’s affected by breast cancer can receive the best treatment, care and support.

HALF MARATHON
6.45am - Wave A and Priority:
This is for priority runners (<1hr 30 min males and <1 hr 40 min females) and Wave A runners aiming to race a time under 2hrs. This wave is suitable for you if you are able to run under 6 min/km pace.
6.50am - Wave B:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in between than 2hrs and 2hrs15mins.
6:55am - Wave C:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in more than 2hrs15mins.
COURSE MAP
A fast, flat 2 lap out and back course, taking you along St Kilda St and past some of Bayside’s iconic attractions. This includes Middle Brighton Sea Baths and Dendy St Bathing Boxes.
Enjoy the bay views as you make your way to the turnaround in Hampton Beach Rd and return to finish on Bayside’s Elsternwick Park.

General Information
Age limits
Participants must be 16 years + on race day.
Start line
Head St, Elsternwick Park.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). Trophies and prizes will be presented to participants post-race.
Half Marathon road cut off
If participants do not make 16km by 9.40am road cut off time they will be allowed to complete the course on the footpaths.
Half Marathon road cut off: 11:00am
First Aid
On course First Aid is located at 2.5K, 8.5K, 13.5K and 18.5K
Toilets
On course toilets are located at 2.5K, 8.5K, 13.5K and 18.5K
Drink stations
Water is located at 2.5K, 6.5K, 8.5K, 11.5K, 13.5K, 16K and 18.5K
Sport drink is located at 6.5K, 16K and the Finish line.

Clothing storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
