COURSE MAP
A fast, flat 1 lap out and back course, taking you along St Kilda St and then past some of Bayside’s iconic attractions. This includes Middle Brighton Sea Baths and Dendy St Bathing Boxes.
Enjoy the bay views as you make your way to the turnaround in Hampton Beach Rd and return to finish on Bayside’s Elsternwick Park.

Age limits
Participants must be 12 years + on race day.

8:20am - Wheelchair wave
8:30am - Priority
This is for priority runners aiming to finish the race in under 40mins.
8:32am - Wave A
This is for runners aiming to finish the race between 40mins - 60mins.
8:35am - Wave B
This is for runners aiming to finish the race between 61mins - 70mins.
8:40am - Wave C
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in over 70mins.
10K road cut off
If participants do not make 5km by 9.55am road cut off time they will be allowed to complete the course on the footpaths.
10km road cut off: 11:00am
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). Trophies and prizes will be presented to participants post-race.
Drink stations
Water is located at 2.5K, 5K and 7.5K
Sport drink is located at 5K and at the Finish Line.
Toilets and First Aid
On course toilets and first aid will be located at 2.5K and 7.5K

Event Guide will be available closer to the event day.
Clothing storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
