This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from https://www.solemotive.com/ (the “Site”).

Sole Motive is committed to respecting our users’ privacy and security.

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

• Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
• When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We also use Google Analytics to help us understand how our customers use the Site. This is also only used in aggregate form and no individual user will be identified. We use Google AdWords Remarketing and Facebook Custom Audiences to deliver advertisements to Website Visitors. 

AdWords Remarketing and Facebook Custom Audiences will display relevant ads tailored to you based on what parts of the Sole Motive website you have viewed by placing a cookie in your browser (this cookie does not in any way identify you or give access to your computer). The cookie is used to say “this person visited this page, so show them ads relating to that page.” Google AdWords Remarketing and Facebook Custom Audiences allows us to tailor our marketing to better suit your needs and only display ads that are relevant to you.

You may opt out from receiving marketing material at any time by sending an email containing your name and other identifying information contained on your order along with the header “Opt Out of Marketing” to info@solemotive.com.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Should you require access to, or wish to correct the Personal Data collected and stored by Sole Motive, please send an email with your relevant contact details to info@solemotive.com. Sole Motive will endeavour to provide access or correct information, where that action is reasonable and practicable. Sole Motive may impose a reasonable fee for this service.

BEHAVIOURAL ADVERTISING

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Security is paramount to Sole Motive with respect to your data. We use a variety of software to ensure appropriate security and encryption of data so as to protect against misuse, interference or loss of information, or from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

What happens to my complaint?

When we receive your complaint we will contact you when reasonable practicable to let you know that we have received it.

We will use reasonable endeavours to investigate your complaint and aim to resolve it. We may contact you for further information.

We will write to you and let you know the outcome. We will use reasonable endeavours to resolve your complaint within 30 days however some complaints are more complex and take longer. We will keep you informed if this is the case.

If for some reason we cannot resolve your complaint (for example, the issue is outside our responsibilities), we will write to you and let you know.
