    Assistant Store Manager – Hawthorn & Melbourne CBD

    We’re looking for Assistant Store Managers to join our Hawthorn and Melbourne CBD stores. You’ll help lead the store team, deliver an exceptional customer experience, support day to day operations and be part of Melbourne’s running community.

    This role is available as full time or part time for the right person, with regular weekend availability required.

    Event Coordinator

    The role

    We are looking for a superstar Event Coordinatorto work with us in the delivery of outdoor road running events. If you’re passionate about bringing to life event experiences within the events industry we’d love to hear from you.

    You will have the chance to:

    What you will do:

    • Assist with day-to-day roll out and delivery of events.
    • Lead in the recruitment of staff and volunteers.
    • Manage the event scheduling and onboarding of staff and volunteers via the online platform.
    • Coordinate setup and on-day delivery of event registration platform.
    • Prepare & collate event day folders and related assets.
    • Source quotes and secure vendors/suppliers.
    • Assist with event bump-in and bump-out.
    • Assist course managers with planning and logistics.
    • Support Sole Motive team in delivering team goals, event strategies and standards.
    • Perform ad-hoc administration and project work as required.

    To be successful for the position, you will need to demonstrate:

    • Tertiary qualification in Event Management or Sports Management or similar.
    • 1-3 years' experience.
    • Excellent organisational skills, time management skills and attention to detail.
    • Capability to load/unload multiple event equipment (<30 kgs)
    • Proficient Computer skills – MS Office Suite
    • Ability to complete manual tasks
    • First aid certificate (desirable - training will be provided)

    Note: Weekend work and flexible hours required.
