Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is the official charity partner for the 2027 Carman’s Fun Run Melbourne. For the past 29 years, BCNA has worked to ensure that all Australians who are affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.
As Australia’s leading breast cancer consumer organisation with a network of more than 175,000, BCNA provides information and support to those diagnosed with breast cancer and their supporters. This includes opportunities to connect with others going through a similar situation and working with government and health professionals to influence a stronger healthcare system. Provide a Helpline supporting 13,000+ Australians affected by breast cancer each year.
Deliver an Information and Resources Hub that includes podcasts, videos, articles and stories on a range of breast cancer topics.
Provide free My Care Kits, including post-surgery bra and soft form, to support women after surgery.
Advocate on behalf of Australians diagnosed with breast cancer to improve access to new treatments and affordable drugs that reduce financial strain.
Train and support Australians with lived experience to enable them to work with BCNA to influence research, government and healthcare decisions.
Work with cancer researchers to ensure people with lived experience inform studies and projects.
