Join us and take on the 5K run to raise funds for Australian's affected by breast cancer! Race down the fast and flat course along Melbourne's breathtaking bayside and raise funds together with your local community.
Make your run count in 2025 by raising funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). Your fundraising helps BCNA work towards ensuring all Australians who are affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.

WAVE START TIMES
5K
9:10am - Wave A and Priority:
This is for priority runners (<20mins males and <25 min females) and Wave A runners aiming to finish
the race in under 30 min
This wave is suitable for you if you are able to run under 6min/km pace.
9.15am - Wave B:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in over 30mins
This wave is suitable for you if you run over 6min/km pace.
COURSE MAP
A flat 1 lap out and back course, that takes you along St Kilda St, past Middle Brighton Sea Baths and Royal Brighton Yacht Club along The Esplanade. Returning to finish on Bayside’s Elsternwick Park.

General Information
Age limits
All children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by a guardian. The child’s guardian must be entered in the event.
Start line
Head St, Elsternwick Park.
5K road cut off
If participants do not make road cut off times they will be allowed to complete the course on the footpaths.
5km road cut off: 11:00am
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). Trophies and prizes will be presented to participants post-race.
Event Guide
Event Guide will be available closer to race day.
Drink stations
There will be a water station located at the 2.5km mark. Sport drink will be available at the Finish Line.
Toilets and First Aid
On course toilets and first aid will be located at 2.5K.
Clothing storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
