Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). If any runner want to place in this event, they must start in the first wave. Medals will be presented to place getters from the stage post race.
All runners in the Half-Marathon, the 10k and 5k races will be timed. If you wish to receive a finishing time all participants must wear their RACE BIB. Your Race Bib contains a disposable timing chip, if you don’t wear your bib, you won’t receive an official time.
Please wear your race bib on the front of your top and ensure it is visible.
Live results will be available online from 6pm on Sunday 25 August, 2024.
Participants who have nominated to receive SMS results and have paid an additional $2 will receive their results SMS on the evening of the event, and finishers will receive a certificate via email.
Net time is the time the participant crosses the start line until they cross the finish line. This is how results are displayed on the website, and will be used to award aged category places. These times are for participant information only and are not used to determine place getters. Placegetters are determined by gun time – the first three male and females across the finish line.
