The 5k will start on Beach Road at Green Point, Brighton. The 5k will complete one lap of its assigned course. Refer to the course maps below. For Google Maps, click here.
Note: turn around point is past Bridge St, Brighton

Detailed participant instruction will be available to download closer to the event.
Age Limits
All children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by a guardian. The child’s guardian must be entered in the event.

Beach Road at Green Point, Brighton
5k starts 9:15am
5k start closes 9:30am
5K Road Cut Off
5km road cut off 10:20am
If participants do not make road cut off times they will be allowed to complete the course on the footpaths.
5K Wave Start Times
9:00am - Wheelchair wave
9:15am- Priority and Wave A:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in under 30min.
9:18am - Wave B:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in above 30min+.
9:30am - Start line closes

There will be drink station located at approximately the 2.5km mark.

Participant Instructions will be available closer to the event.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather the adjusted time for each run (net time). If any runner wants to place in this event, they must start in the first wave. Medals will be presented to place getters from the stage post race.
