COURSE MAP
A fast, flat 2 lap out and back course, taking you along St Kilda St and past some of Bayside’s iconic attractions. This includes Middle Brighton Sea Baths and Dendy St Bathing Boxes. Enjoy the bay views as you make your way to the turnaround in Hampton Beach Rd and return to finish on Bayside’s Elsternwick Park.

Participants must be 16 years + on race day.

Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). Trophies and prizes will be presented to participants post-race.
Half Marathon road cut off
If participants do not make 16km by 9.40am road cut off time they will be allowed to complete the course on the footpaths.

Drink stations
Located approximately every 3km on the course.

Will be available for download closer to the event.
Clothing storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
Wheelchair information
Racing wheelchair:If you are a racing wheelchair please contact timing@solemotive.com to secure your spot. The racing wheelchair wave will start approximately 10 minutes before the official Half Marathon start – at 7:00am. Please be at the start line no later than 6:45am
Non racing wheelchair:Sole Motive accommodates wheelchairs in our event. If you’re not a Racing Wheelchair Athlete, please start at the back of the final wave in your event.
