RESULTS
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time).
Trophies will be presented to participants post-race, approximately 30 mins after the winner of each distance finishes.
All runners in the Half-Marathon, the 10k and 5k races will be timed. Participants in the Pink Lady 5K Walk will not be timed. If you wish to receive a finishing time all participants must wear their race bib.
Your Race Bib contains a disposable timing chip, if you don’t wear your bib, you won’t receive an official time.
Please wear your race bib on the front of your top and ensure it is visible.
Unofficial results are live as you cross the finish line. Official results are available online here. Please allow up until 5pm on race day for all results to appear.
Participants who have nominated to receive SMS results and have paid an additional $2.50 will receive two SMS messages, one as they cross the finish line and then a second text will with their official time around midday. Finishers will be able to download their certificate from the results page after the event has concluded.
Net time is the time the participant crosses the start line until they cross the finish line. This is how results are displayed on the website, and will be used to award aged category places.
These times are for participant information only and are not used to determine place getters. Placegetters are determined by gun time – the first three male and females across the finish line.
