Participants must be 12 years + on race day

Rond Terrace, Parkes
10K starts 8:25am
10K start closes 8:45am
Wave Start Times
8:20am - Racing Wheelchair Wave
8:25am - Priority: Runners under 50mins
8:28am - Wave A: Runners under 60mins
8:31am - Wave B: Runners between 61min - 70min
8:36am - Wave C: Runners over 71min
10K Road Cut off
If participants do not make road cut off times they will be allowed to complete the course on the footpaths.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather the adjusted time for each run (net time). If any runner wants to place in this event, they must start in the priority wave/first wave. Trophies will be presented to participants post-race. Approximately 30mins after the winner of each distance finishes.
Drink Stations
Located approximately every 2.5km on the course.
Event Guide
Event Guide will be available closer to the event.
Pacers
Participants can meet the pace leaders at the stage area 30 minutes before the start time for their distance. The pace leaders will have a flag attached to them with their pacing time witten on it for participants to look out for.
They will start their watches and pace you once you have crossed the start line – this is known as net time.
There will be pacers for the following times in the 10K:
Bag Drop/Clothing Storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
Priority Start
Any participant who plans on running under 4min/km can apply for a priority start at the front of the start.
You will be asked to provide a link to a past result, to support your request, during the entry process.
Wheelchair Information
Racing Wheelchair:If you are a racing wheelchair please contact timing@solemotive.com to secure your spot. The racing wheelchair wave will start approximately 5 minutes before the official 10K start – at 8:20am. Please be at the start line no later than 8:10am
Non Racing Wheelchair:Sole Motive accommodates wheelchairs in our event. If you’re not a Racing Wheelchair Athlete, please start at the back of the final wave in your event.
