The 5km walk or run is a wonderful opportunity to race to beat your PB (personal best), or to celebrate with family and friends and run or walk at a pace that suits you.
Make your run count in 2023 by raising funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). Your fundraising helps BCNA work towards ensuring all Australians who are affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.
Last minute pricing ends 30 min before race start on 19 February 2023.

COURSE MAP
A flat 1 lap out and back course, that takes you along St Kilda St, past Middle Brighton Sea Baths and Royal Brighton Yacht Club along The Esplanade. Returning to finish on Bayside’s Elsternwick Park.

General Information
Age limits
All children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by a guardian. The child’s guardian must be entered in the event.

5K road cut off
If participants do not make road cut off times they will be allowed to complete the course on the footpaths.
5km road cut off: 10:30am
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). Trophies and prizes will be presented to participants post-race.

Drink stations
There will be a drink station located at approximately the 2.5km mark.
Clothing storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
