Join us in fostering a love for running and well-being in our young participants with the Kids 2.3K course. Race along Lake Burley Griffin and past the pillars of Australian of The Year 2024.
Parents or guardians are welcome to accompany their children if needed. Create unforgettable memories of fitness and fun, and inspire the next generation of runners!

Standard pricing ends at 11:59PM on 27 February 2025.
Children up to the age of 14 may participate.
All entrants under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a non registered parent/guardian for the entire duration of the race.

General Information
Age limits
Children up to the age of 14 may participate. All entrants under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a non registered parent/guardian for the entire duration of the race.
Parents/Guardians can participate in the 2.3km with their children free of charge and do not need to register to do so.
Start line
Parkes Place West, adjacent to National library of Australia, approximately 350m from the Event Village.
Kids 2.3K start: 8:00am
Start line closes: 8:20am

Clothing storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event?
There will be no awards ceremony for the 2.3K race, however each child will be given a finisher's medal.
