Scenic course around Parliament, across the Commonwealth Avenue Bridge and along Parkes Way before crossing back over the Kings Ave Bridge to complete a loop of Telopea before finishing.

Age limits
Participants must be 16 years + on race day.
Start line
King George Terrace, Parkes
Half Marathon starts: 8:20am
Half Marathon start closes: 8:40am
Priority Start
Any participant who plans on running under 4min/km can apply for a priority start at the front of the start. Please upload your "proof of results when you register".
Half Marathon road cut off
8:40am All participants must have crossed the start line
12:45pm Clear Kings Ave Bridge onto Bowen Drive (16.5km)
2:00pm All participants must have crossed the finish line
The timing system will record the 10.095km (halfway) split time

Located approximately every 2.5km - 3km on the course.
Please note that FIXX Nutrition is the electrolyte and Gu is the gel supplier.

Participant Instructions will be available for download closer to the event.
Clothing storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
Wheelchair information
Racing wheelchair:If you are a racing wheelchair please contact timing@solemotive.com to secure your spot. The racing wheelchair wave will start approximately 10 minutes before the official Half Marathon start – at 7:40am. Please be at the start line no later than 7:30am
Non racing wheelchair:Sole Motive accommodates wheelchairs in our event. If you’re not a Racing Wheelchair Athlete, please start at the back of the final wave in your event.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, place getters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). Trophies and prizes will be presented to participants post-race.
NOTE: Age group medals will be posted to the Top 3 placegetters in the following age groups 2-3 weeks after the event
