The 2km kids event is an out and back starting and finishing at Rond Terrace. Please refer to course map below.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Age Limits
Children up to the age of 14 may participate. All entrants under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a non registered parent/guardian for the entire duration of the race.
Parents/Guardians can participate in the 2km with their children free of charge and do not need to register to do so.
Start Line
Rond Terrace, Parkes
2K starts 10:15am
2K start closes 10:20am
Drink Stations
Located at the start and finish of the 2k
Event Guide
Event Guide will be available closer to the event.
Clothing Storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
Medals
All kids participating will receive medals. There will be no awards ceremony nor place getters for this distance.
