Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?

Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather the adjusted time for each run (net time). If any runner wants to place in this event, they must start in the first wave. Trophies will be presents to participants post-race. Approximately 30mins after the winner of each distance finishes.

The 2K Kids does not award placegetters, all participants receive a medal after completing the event.

How will I be timed on day?

All runners in the Half-Marathon, 10k, 5k and 2k Kids races will be timed. If you wish to receive a finishing time all participants must wear their RACE BIB. Your Race Bib contains a disposable timing chip, if you don’t wear your bib, you won’t receive an official time.

Please wear your race bib on the front of your top and ensure it is visible.

Where can I find my results?

Unofficial results are live as you cross the finish line. Official results are available online from 5pm.

Participants who have nominated to receive SMS results and have paid an additional $2 will receive two SMS messages, one as they cross the finish line and then a second text with their official time around midday, and finishers will receive a certificate via email.

    What is net time?

Net time is the time the participant crosses the start line until they cross the finish line. This is how results are displayed on the website, and will be used to award aged category places. These times are for participant information only and are not used to determine place getters. Placegetters are determined by gun time – the first three male and females across the finish line.
