    CAR PARKING INFORMATION

    Parking is limited on the morning of the event. Please allow plenty of time to find parking prior to your event start time. Where possible get dropped at the event or car pool to the event.

    Public Parking is available at the following locations:

     

    Friday 14th April (Race Bib Collection & EXPO)

    Treasury Building Car Park - access via Langton Crescent

    Saturday 15th April (Race Bib Collection & EXPO)

    John Gorton Building – Accessed from Parkes Place East or Dorothy Tangney Place.

    Treasury Building – Accessed from Parkes Place West or Langton Crescent.

    Questacon Car Park - Access via Queen Elizabeth Drive

    National Gallery - Access from King Edward Terrace via Kings Ave only

    Sunday 16th April (EVENT DAY)

    Treasury Build Car Park - access via Langton Crescent

    John Gorton Building - Access from Dorothy Tangney Place
    Russel Office Carpark - Access off Kings Ave (This is a 2km or roughly 20 minute walk from site)

     

    ACCESSIBLE PARKING (EVENT DAY)

    Newlands St has limited parking for accessible parking.

    Sole Motive has reserved an additional 6 bays in the Treasury Car Park.
    These are located near the corner of King George Terrace and Parkes Place West.

    Entry for Treasury Car park is off Newlands St.

     

    Please note that it is an offence under the National Land (Road Transport) Ordinance 2014 to park a vehicle on open space in the area where The Canberra Times Marathon Festival is being held. Open space is any area that is not designed for the movement or parking of motor vehicles, such as grassed areas, footpaths and landscaped areas. The National Capital Authority will be enforcing parking regulations for the duration of this event, and attendees should ensure they park legally to avoid the risk of an infringement being issued to their vehicle.

     

    BIKE PARKING

    Sole Motive will provide plenty of bike parking at the event site. Please make sure to bring your own lock to ensure your bike is secure.
