Let’s wrap up Sunset Series in style at The Tan, Melbourne’s most famous running track taking you around the stunning Botanical Gardens. After conquering Races 1 and 2, it’s time for the grand finale and one last chance to chase a PB!
As the evening sun sets, the vibrant event village comes alive. Feast on delicious bites from local food trucks, grab a drink from the Sunset Bar, and vibe to live music – the perfect way to wind down and celebrate an incredible series. Secure a table and drinks – $40 for two people with two drinks, or $70 for four people with four drinks.

SUNSET BAR
Enjoy a drink post event with family and friends in the Sunset Bar. You can pre-book tables and drinks when you register, orbring your own picnic blanket to enjoy thesummer vibes.
Pre purchase drinks and a table:
2x drinks for $40 or
4x drinks for $70.
There will be drinks available for purchase on the night from $12.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Relax post run and enjoy a meal or drink from a selection of food trucks in the event village.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Age limits
4km - All children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a guardian. The child’s guardian must be entered in the event.
8km- Participants must be 8 years + on race day to enter the 8k event.
Start line
Location: Linlithgow Ave, Melbourne
4km start: 6:30pm
8km start: 7:00pm
Finish line cut off
All runners must have crossed the finish line by 8:30pm.
Priority start
Any participant who believes they will place in the top 10 in either the 3.8K or 7.7K eventswill need to start at the frontof each race start.

Event Guide will be available for download closer to the event.
Drink stations
There will be a drink station located at approximately the 2.5km mark.
Clothing storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
Getting there
Public Transport
Public transport is the quickest and easiest way to get to and from the event. Trains and buses operate frequently, dropping you right at the door. Go to Public Transport Victoria website for more information. https://www.ptv.vic.gov.au/
BY TRAM:You can catch a Tram from Flinders Street Station, 3/3a, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 or 72 down St Kilda Road, past the Arts Centre to Grant Street.
Car
Limited parking is available along St. Kilda Road, Birdwood Avenue, and Boathouse Drive. Please allow at least 30 mins for parking, and adhere to parking restrictions. Please note Linlithgow Avenue will be closed (between the Triangle and Government House Drive). Government House Drive will be closed (between the roundabout and Government House).
Please allow enough time to park your car and walk to the Event Village before your race.
Bike
Sole Motive will provide plenty of bike parking at the event site. Please make sure to bring your own lock to ensure your bike is secure.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time, not net time. Medals will be presented to placegetters from the stage post-race.
All race finishers will receive a medal. Complete all three Sunset Series races and connect the three medals together to form one epic collector's piece.
