Take on a flat, fast and fun 5K, heading out and back along Flynn Drive before turning toward the backdrop of Parliament House. You’ll finish strong on King Edward Terrace – the perfect place to soak up the atmosphere and celebrate your run.

Priority: Male runners aiming to finish the race in under 20 mins and female runners aiming to finish the race in under 22mins.

This is for runners aiming to finish the race in under 30mins.
8:35am - Wave B:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in above 31min+.
8:50am - Start line closes
5K road cut off

10:00am - All participants must have crossed the Finish Line (5km)

Clothing storage
Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen.
We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
Clothes left on barriers at start line
All clothes that have been left on barriers at the start line will be collected and donated to charity.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, place getters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). Trophies and prizes will be presented to participants post-race.
NOTE: Age group medals will be posted to the Top 3 placegetters in the following age groups 2-3 weeks after the event.
