RESULTS
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time).
Medals will be presented to participants post-race. Approximately 30 mins after the winner of each distance finishes.
All runners will be timed. If you wish to receive a finishing time all participants must wear their RACE BIB. Your Race Bib contains a disposable timing chip, if you don’t wear your bib, you won’t receive an official time.
Please wear your race bib on the front of your top and ensure it is visible.
Participants who are in the Sunset Series 3 Race Pass MUST keep the same bib for all 3 races.
Unofficial results are live as you cross the finish line. Official results are available online from 10pm.
Participants who have nominated to receive SMS results and have paid an additional $2.50 will receive two SMS messages, one as they cross the finish line and then a second text with their official time around midday, and finishers will receive a certificate via email.
Net time is the time the participant crosses the start line until they cross the finish line. This is how results are displayed on the website, and will be used to award aged category places.
These times are for participant information only and are not used to determine place getters. Placegetters are determined by gun time – the first three male and females across the finish line.
