Big smiles, fast feet and 2K of race-day fun.
The Kids 2K Dash gives the next generation of runners their own chance to be part of Canberra Marathon weekend. The course loops around Old Parliament House before heading towards King Edward Terrace, where family and supporters cheer them all the way across the finish line.
*Course subject to change.
Marathon Cut-Off Time: All marathoners have until 2pm to cross the finish line, allowing approximately 7.5 hours from the start to complete the course.

Children up to the age of 14 may participate.
All entrants under the age of 5 must be accompanied by a non registered parent/guardian for the entire duration of the race.

Parents/Guardians can participate with their children free of charge and do not need to register to do so.

There will be no awards ceremony for the Kids Dash, however each child will be given a finisher's medal.
