Take on 42.195K through Australia's capital.

The race begins with a loop around Parliament House before heading through Telopea Park, down Kings Avenue and onto the open roads of Parkes Way. From there, runners climb Anzac Parade towards the Australian War Memorial – one of the standout moments of the course.

The course then returns through Barton, following State Circle and Adelaide Avenue into Weston Park. From there, a stretch along Alexandrina Drive takes runners beside Lake Burley Griffin before turning back towards the city.

The final kilometres follow State Circle, through Brisbane Avenue and onto King Edward Terrace, where the cheers of supporters carry you towards the finish line and the moment you’ve worked 42.195K for.

    *Course subject to change.

Marathon Cut-Off Time: All marathoners have until 2pm to cross the finish line, allowing approximately 7.5 hours from the start to complete the course.
