    Take on 10K through Australia's capital.

     

    The race heads outa long Flynn Drive before joining Alexandrina Drive for a stretch alongside Lake Burley Griffin. From there, runners make their way back towards Parliament House.

     

    The final stretch takes runners along King Edward Terrace, where supporters cheer you home as you cross the finish line and make that 10K yours.

    Age Limits

    Participants must be 12 years + on race day.

     

    Start Line

    King George Terrace, Parkes

    10K starts: 7:00am

    10K start closes: 7:30am

     

    Priority Start

    Any participant who plans on running under 4min/km can apply for a priority start at the front of the start. Please upload your "proof of results when you register".

     

    Wave Start Times

    6:50am - Wheelchair wave

     

    7:00am - Priority:

    For male runners aiming to finish in under 40mins and female runners under 42min.

     

    7:00am - Wave A:

    For runners aiming to finish in under 55mins.

     

    7:05am - Wave B:

    For runners aiming to finish between 56mins-60mins.

     

    7:10am - Wave C:

    For runners aiming to finish between 61mins-70mins.

     

    7:15am - Wave D:

    For runners aiming to finish in over 71mins.

     

    7:30am - Start line closes

     

    Road Cut Off

    7:30am  - All participants must have crossed the start line

    10:00am  - All participants must have crossed the Finish Line (10km)

     

    Pace Leaders

    Pace groups: 40mins, 45mins, 50mins, 55mins, 60mins, 65mins, 70mins
     
    • All Pace Group Leaders will be identifiable in event gear with a flag and their particular pace time clearly visible on their race bib.

    Located approximately every 3.5km - 4km on the course.

     

    Please note that FIXX Nutrition is the electrolyte supplier.

    Awards Ceremony

    Place getters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). Trophies and prizes will be presented to participants post-race.

     

    NOTE: Age group medals will be posted to the Top 3 placegetters in the following age groups 2-3 weeks after the event

     

    10km:Under 12; 12-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-79; 80+

     

    Trophies and Monetary Prizes

    Trophies and monetary prizes will be awarded to overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd male and female place getters.
