REGISTRATIONS
The following age limits apply for Portsea Twilight:
2.2km Kids - Entry is open to children aged 10 and under. Any child who is aged 6 and under must be accompanied by a guardian. Guardians can run with their children for free in this event.
9.5km - All children aged 8-12 must be accompanied by a guardian. The child's guardian must be entered in the event.
5.5km - All children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a guardian. The child's guardian must be entered in the event.
If you register for the event before 11:59 pm Sunday, 1 December 2024, your first name will be printed on your race bib.
Note: you must select postage.
Children under four years of age are not required to pay the entry fee, however, for safety and insurance reasons you will be required to provide details in the registration process.
Last Minute Onsite/Online Entries Close: 30 mins before race starts on Saturday, 4 January 2025. Enter early to guarantee your preferred start time.

You don’t have to notify Sole Motive (the organiser) if you are unable to run for any reason. However, there are no refunds for non-starters or non-finishers.
We do offer the following:
T&C #13. I agree that there are no refunds, however, I may request a credit note for other SM owned events (minus $10 for admin fees) no later than 4 December 2024. After this date, no credit notes will be issued. Credit notes will not be issued when downgrading distances. Credit notes will be valid for SM owned events and cannot be used for contracted events. Credit notes are valid for 1 year from the date of issuing.
Event upgrades/downgrades can be made online up until 30 mins before race start. Use this link.
Refunds/credit notes cannot be issued for the difference in entry fee (if any) when downgrading your distance.
If you change your distance then you can use your existing race bib for your new distance.

Please ensure you have checked your junk/spam folder for your confirmation email (e-ticket). If you can still not locate it, you can log viaRace Roster and choose to resend your registration email.
Yes, please click here and follow the prompts to Transfer to a new participant – this will incur a $10 transfer fee. Name Transfers end 11:59pm December 31st. Name Transfers will not be permitted on event weekend.
Yes you can enter at the Event Village Jarman Oval, Point Nepean National Park onSaturday 4 January from 9am.
ON COURSE
Public and portable toilets are located at the Event Village as well as at a first aid post.Please refer to relevant distance page for on course toilet and drink station locations.
We strongly discourage the use of headphones on the course. If you do choose to use headphones while running, please ensure that you are still able to hear what is happening around you.
No personal support riders or bike riders within the vicinity of runners are permitted on course. It is the responsibility of each athlete while running to ensure that no bikes are on the course near the runners. Any transgression will result in disqualification from the event.
Prams are permitted in all events – please start at the back of your wave for safety reasons.
If you are running to lend a helping hand, to someone who is unable to participate without you, then please email an image of their companion card along with the event name to info@solemotive.com
All animals are strictly prohibited from entering any part of thePoint Nepean National Park.For this event we ask that you leave your pets at home.
Car
Drive to the end of Point Nepean Road, Portsea and into the entrance of Point Nepean National Park. Please follow the directional signage past the VisitorCentre and continue alongDefence Road. Sole Motive event marshals will direct you to park your car onJarman Oval.
Parking
Free parking is available at Jarman Oval. The car park opens at 3:30pm – please allow 45mins to park your car. Please expect that there will be queues when parking at the event.
Please note: there is no parking on Defence Road – parking fines will be enforced.
Public Transport
Portsea Passenger Service operates Route 788 from Frankston via Rosebud, with a bus stop located at the entrance of Point Nepean National Park.
Bike
Sole Motive will provide plenty of bike parking at the event site. Please make sure to bring your own lock to ensure your bike is secure.
RACE WEEKEND
The Event Guide will be available for download closer to the event.
There are no road closures for this event. Defence Road in Point Nepean National Park can get banked up so please allow plenty of time to get to the start line.
Bag drop is available in the event village from 4pm.

RACE PACKS
There are two options to collect your race kit:
Option 1 – Postage:
If you wish to have your race pack posted to you, you must register before 11:59pm, 12 December 2024. Please note, a delivery fee of $8.95 applies.
Option 2 – Pickup:
At the event site - all participants can collect their Race Pack at the event site onSaturday 4 January2024 from 9am.
For the purpose of Race Bib collection, please make sure you bring a copy of your e-ticket with your Race Bib number on it. E-tickets will be sent on Friday 3 January and Saturday 4 January.
RESULTS
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time).
The top 3 place getters in men and women will receive a medal and prize pack post-race. Approximately 30 mins after the winner of each distance finishes.
There is no ceremony and no place getters for the Kids 2.2K (all kids who participate in the kids race will receive a medal).
All runners will be timed. If you wish to receive a finishing time all participants must wear their RACE BIB. Your Race Bib contains a disposable timing chip, if you don’t wear your bib, you won’t receive an official time.
Please wear your race bib on the front of your top and ensure it is visible
Unofficial results are live as you cross the finish line. Official results are available online from 10am Monday 6 January 2025.
Participants who have nominated to receive SMS results and have paid an additional $2.5 will receive two SMS messages, one as they cross the finish line and then a second text will with their official time around midday, and finishers will receive a certificate via email.
Net time is the time the participant crosses the start line until they cross the finish line. This is how results are displayed on the website, and will be used to award aged category places.
These times are for participant information only and are not used to determine place getters. Placegetters are determined by gun time – the first three male and females across the finish line.
