Kick start your 2024 with Portsea Twilight's fast and flat 5.5K (no hills!).
A mix of bitumen and firetrails, runners head out towards Point Nepean, past Gunner's Cottage before making their way back through the shade of the Tea Trees towards Jarmin Oval, finishing at Quarantine Station.

General Information
Age limits
2.2km Kids -Entry is open to children aged 10 and under. Any child who is aged 6 and under must be accompanied by a guardian. Guardians can run with their children for free in this event.
5.5km - All children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a guardian. The child’s guardian must be entered in the event.
9.5km - Participants must be 8 years + on race day to enter the 9.5k event.
All children aged 8-12 must be accompanied by a guardian. The child’s guardian must be entered in the event.
Start line
50m from event village
Wave times: 5:45pm; and 6:00pm.
Priority Start
Any participant whobelieves they will place in the top 10 in the 5.5K event needs to start in Wave 1 at 5:45pm and register as a priority start participant.
Finish line closes
All participants must have crossed the Finish Line by 8:45pm.
Drink stations
Located approximately every 3km on the course.
Participant instructions
Participant Instructions will be available for download closer to the event.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). If any runner wants to place in this event, they must start in the first wave. The top 3 place getters in men and women will receive a medal and prize pack post-race.
