COURSE MAP
The Kieser 5K will start on Beach Road at Green Point, Brighton and will complete one lap of its assigned course. Refer to the course maps below. For Google Maps, click here.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Age Limits
All children under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by a guardian. The child’s guardian must be entered in the event.
Start Line
Beach Road at Green Point, Brighton
5K Racing Wheelchair starts: 9:10am
5K starts: 9:15am
5K start closes: 9:30am
5K Road Cut Off
12:30pm - All participants must have crossed the Finish Line (5km)
INFORMATION FOR 1HR45MIN+ 5K RUNNERS
If a runner does not make the road cutoff at 11:00am they will be required to run the remainder along the footpath to the finish line. The redirected course on the footpaths is not measured to AIMS standards which means if you do not cross the finish line by 11:00am, your race will not be AIMS-certified. Runners will still receive an official time, finishers T-shirt and a finisher medal.
5K Wave Start Times
9:15am- Priority:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in under 22min.
9:18am - Wave A:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race between 21min-30min.
9:21am - Wave B:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in above 31min+.
9:40am - Start line closes
Kilometre Markers
The kilometre markers for the 5K will be coloured YELLOW.
Toilets, First Aid Post, Drink Stations
There will be drink station located at approximately the 2.5km mark.
Please note that FIXX Nutrition is the electrolyte supplier.
FIXX Nutrition Electrolytes will be available.
Event Guide
Event Guide will be available closer to the event.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time. If any runner wants to place in this event, they must start in the first wave. Medals will be presented to place getters from the stage post race.
