General Information
Age Limits
Participants must be 16 years + on race day.
Start Line
Beach Road at Green Point, Brighton
Half Marathon starts 7:30am
Half Marathon start closes 7:45am
Priority Start
Male participants who run under 1h 30min, and female participants who run under 1h 40min qualify for a priority start.
Please apply in the registration process.
Half Marathon Road Cut Off
Half Marathon road cut off 10:30am at Balcombe Rd and Beach Rd (15km)
If participants do not make road cut off times they will be allowed to complete the course on the footpaths.
(You will still receive an official finish time and medal)
Split Times
The timing system will record the 10.095km (halfway) split time.
Half Marathon Wave Start Times
7:25am - Wheelchair wave
7:30am - Priority and Wave A:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in under 1hr 45min.
7:33am - Wave B:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race between 1hr 46min-2hr 10min.
7:36am - Wave C:
This is for runners aiming to finish the race in above 2hr 10min+.
7:50am - Start line closes

Participant Instructions
Participant Instructions will be available closer to the event.
Racing Wheelchair:If you are a racing wheelchair please contact timing@solemotive.com to secure your spot. The racing wheelchair wave will start approximately 5 minutes before the official Half Marathon start – 7:25am. Please be at the start line no later than 7:05am.
Non Racing Wheelchair:Sole Motive accommodates wheelchairs in our event. If you’re not a Racing Wheelchair Athlete, please start at the back of the final wave in your event.
Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?
Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather the adjusted time for each run (net time). If any runner wants to place in this event, they must start in the first wave. Medals will be presented to place getters from the stage post race.
