    Join us for fast and flat 10km course in Melbourne's Beautiful Bayside.

     

    It's the ultimate one-lap course to have a go at chasing down a new PB whilst supporting a good cause with your local community.

     

    Make your run count in 2024 by raising funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA). Your fundraising helps BCNA ensure all Australians who are affected by breast cancer receive the very best care, treatment and support.

    Last minute pricing ends 30 min before race start on 18 February 2024.

    8:10am - Wheelchair wave
    8.15am - Wave A and Priority:
    This is for priority runners (<40 mins males and <50 min females) and Wave A runners aiming to finish the race in under 60 min
    This wave is suitable for you if you are able to run under 6min/km pace.
    8.20am - Wave B:
    This is for runners aiming to finish the race in 61-70 mins
    This wave is suitable for you if you run 6-7min/km pace.
    8:25am - Wave C:
    This is for runners aiming to finish the race in over 70 min
    This wave is suitable for you if you run over 7min/km pace.

     

    COURSE MAP

    A fast, flat 1 lap out and back course, taking you along St Kilda St and then past some of Bayside’s iconic attractions. This includes Middle Brighton Sea Baths and Dendy St Bathing Boxes.

     

    Enjoy the bay views as you make your way to the turnaround in Hampton Beach Rd and return to finish on Bayside’s Elsternwick Park.

    General Information

    Age limits

    Participants must be 12 years + on race day.

     

    Start line

    Elsternwick Park, Head St

    8.15 am start

    8:35 am start line closes

     

    10K road cut off

    If participants do not make 5km by 9.40am road cut off time they will be allowed to complete the course on the footpaths.

     

    10km road cut off: 10:30am

     

    Will there be an awards ceremony at the end of the event and how will the top 3 place getters be awarded?

    Yes, placegetters will be awarded based on gun time rather than the adjusted time for each run (net time). Trophies and prizes will be presented to participants post-race.

    Drink stations

    Water is located at 2.5K, 5K and 7.5K

    Gatorade is located at 5K and at the Finish Line.

     

    Toilets and First Aid

    On course toilets and first aid will be located at 2.5K and 7.5K

    Clothing storage 

    Clothing storage is available during the run/walk. Your race number features a tear-off strip for you to attach to your backpack or clothing bag. Do not leave any valuables in your bag as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen. 

     

    We no longer offer single-use plastic bags at the bag drop, so please remember to bring your own bag to the event.
